It's hard to believe, but the Ford Mustang name has now been in use for 43 consecutive years (Since Apr 64) and still going strong. That's not a record (yet), but it's the longest lived name introduced in my lifetime.

Chevrolet Impala has also had some staying power. Although not used consecutively, it was introduced as a concept car in 54?, and production in 58, and used most years since.
