I purchased these two cars today.
http://spokane.craigslist.org/car/313240452.html
Both of them are 81's and both are 4 cylinder cars. The SX/4 is with out a
motor and is kind of beat up. The Kammaback is complete and will probably
run with out any major work, or atleast I HOPE SO! The Kammaback is an
automatic with power brakes and power steering. No major body work except
for a slight ding in the right front fender and the good ol' AMC door hinge
is worn and the door is kinda saggin'. Its also in need of a muffler and
tail pipe. The odometer says just a little over 10 thousand so theres over a
hundred K on it. The motor does turn freely so its not seized. Of course
they both are dirty as all get out and I figured that I could use the SX/4
for parts, if needed. My question(s) are whats the little Kammaback worth?
How many of these cars are out there, (whats the production number?) What
tech manual would I have to purchase for this little car? Would my Eagle
T.S.M. (83) work? I will probably have a bunch more questions in the future
but thats about all for now. I was hoping for 6 cylinder cars... but for the
price....I am not complaining one bit.
Thanks in advance to all who may respond!!
