I've walked around a few of those "Johnny Cash" kit cars. It's a pretty common "midlife crisis" ride in Scottsdale. There's nothing I can really pin down, but something makes me really uneasy about the whole shape. In automotive styling, proportion is everything. Maybe it's just because I'm so used to seeing the 57,58,59 that I can't let go of the way they look already. In a way, this is kinda like how a 68-70 AMX looks all stubby and fat, next to a graceful, early Javelin... But somehow the Gremlin pulls it off next to the Hornet. Gremlins are cool, that's all. mike P.S. as a designer, he seems to make a pretty good priest. ---- Don Johnson wrote: What do you get if you throw a Corvette C6 frame and running gear, the front of a 57 Chebby, the side of a 58 Chebby and the rear of a 59 Chebby together in a blender? This is what you get, but I don't think the Priest's car will lose it's title of ugliest. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
