Frank said the 327 was not a real powerhouse, never drove one yet. Is it really not? ---------- It's not like the 360, but it is respectable. They were made for torque and use a way small 4V carb, something around a 400-450 cfm stock. It could easily use a 600 cfm and a better cam. Unfortunately those are the only two things you can do to it easily and relatively inexpensively. The intake uses a stnadard Holley bolt pattern and a stock cam can be reground to get a little more umph. The small carb hurts throttle response a bit, but keeps low speed torque up. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
