The 81-up aluminum manifold is a choice object. It's 15 lbs
lighter than stock and has the BBD pattern, for which the
"jeep weber" kit has an adapter for (egad, what a sentence).

Yeah, I think the 38mm primary is too big. The 32mm pri is
very small, makes for great off-idle performance, then the
(highly adjustable0 progressive linkage pulls the sec in
perfectly. It's I think correctly sized for the 232 or 258 in
more or less stock trim.

I get 19mpg annual average out of mine, fairly heavy on highweay
miles (65mph) with a 904 Torqueflite. I'd be surprised if I got under
16mpg city.
