like was previously mentioned before. for each cylinder you want to do. rotate the engine untill both valves are "closed" the lifters will be all the way down. you sould be able to set the pushrods in the lifter, and the rocker should sit down. there should be NO tension from the rocker to the valvespring when the lifter is down. you get one cylinder done, rotate the engine over to the next cylinder, both lifters are in the down position. if you pull the plugs out, you will be able to turn over the engine over with no problem. i have had to do several engines like this. using dual springs or stiffer springs for bigger cams. sometimes the ONLY way you can get them done. just make sure you tighten down each side of the bridge equally. 2 turns on one side, 2 turns on the other side. switching back and forth till tourqued down propperly. dave stohler http://picasaweb.google.com/das24rules/62RamblerClassicCustom ____________________________________________________________________________________ The fish are biting.
