NOT trying to argue...but just bacause you got a lemon
does NOT make aLL of them bad.

You are right Joe, I probably got the worst 1987 Lincoln 
Continental that was ever made and it probably consisted
of the worst collection of better ideas that Ford ever 
thought of. 
This car was such a piece of junk from almost every aspect
for the money I paid for it and the complete lack of 
reliability it had and that air suspension that was a joke 
in it's own right and repairable with a small fortune only
and only with factory parts that car completely cured me
of ever spending serious money for a Ford product again. 
And I grew up with Fords, Mercury's and Lincolns and that
was not the first Ford product I have ever owned but 
after owning it I had a better idea. Buy anything else!
I will say though, that the transmission and the A/C never 
failed. 
However that is not a good enough recommendation to 
overcome that bad that car gave me. It was and will 
be that last Ford I ever own.
