My son's ex-GF's dad had a Cougar ('84?) with 351W and TBI (precursor to the
Holley Projection) but they blew the head gasket on it and sent it to the
junk heap almost 2 years ago. (Still have pics of the throttlebody)

Did they put that setup on anything larger, say a 351 or 360?
I'm
looking for an cheap and easy conversion for my 360 Matador, and
that
could be just the ticket...

T-bird/Cougar, Mustang, Town Car, LTD/Marquis, and the LTD Crown
Victoria/Grand Marquis. The Ford TBI throttle body will directly
bolt to an AMC V8 2-barrel manifold, as it has the exact same
footprint as the Motorcraft 2100 carb that is ubiquitous to AMC
usage. No adapter needed!
