I don't think there is a general rust problem.  I'm pretty sure they don't 
use road salt.  You should check for previous hail damage.  They get some 
bad hail storms in summer and sometimes fixed improperly, usually with bondo 
or body filler.  Can be checked on the underside of fenders, hood, etc.  Not 
to say your car didn't come from a salty state previous to SD...
