Only the early EFI Mustangs, like 83-85 or so. You wouldn't need to machine a Ford intake, but would need to make an adapter to put the Ford CFI unit on an AMC intake. The easiest to adapt to would be an open center 4V intake. Just make an aluminum plate to cover the 4V hole and drill for the CFI unit. I' not sure if the Ford CFI for the 302 is one large single barrel or a two barrel design, it could be either. It's been 6-7 years since I had a close look at one. Started to buy one from a neighbor who was going to part out an 84-85 T-bird, but he got a buyer for the entire car. -----Original Message----- From: d stohler [mailto:das24rules@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 22, 2007 1:21 PM To: Swygert, Francis G MSgt 436 CES/CECM Subject: Re: [Amc-list] amc 304 years ford efi. like the fox body mustang efi? how hard are those manifolds to machine to get to fit? that might be pretty cool. ford efi with their electronic ignition. real easy and cheap to get parts for also. hmm... interesting. dave stohler http://picasaweb.google.com/das24rules/62RamblerClassicCustom ________________________________________________________________________ ____________ Don't get soaked.
