Download the latest Firefox and install it
in C:// Programs/firefox

follow the instructions & you can't 'miss'...

Reboot.

Now go back to the download site & click
'Add On's '.

You can now select from 100s of add on 
'extensions' - >such as 'Tiny URL'< - 
which
when at a site you wish to send the URL
from - you simply select > then right click
 - select 'Create Tiny URL' from the menu - 
> hit 'close' once the 'Tiny URL' is on your
clip-board [automatically does that ].

Then left click to whatever you're writing >
right click > select 'Paste' and you're done!

With Firefox, you can open dozens of pages
of whatever - like eBay? - and have small
Tabs for each page at the top...... all types
of coolness available from the 'Add On's' 2.
