1967 232 six cylinder bellhousing shim plate HELP!!! Posted by: "Rick" my67j3000@xxxxxxxxx my67j3000 Date: Tue Mar 6, 2007 9:37 am ((PST)) Allright I going to ask for your HELP one more time. I am rebuilding a 1967 J3000 pickup & I need a bellhousing shim plate for 232 six cylinder. I got this truck in a basket & there were a few parts missing in the drive train, I have found most of what I need but I am still missing the shim plate. The newer 232s & 258s shim plates will not work on this engine because the bell housing is smaller than the new ones. I could really use an original one but I could fab one myself if I knew what the relative thickness was. So if one of you other JEEP NUTS out there could help a guy out it would really be helpfull. GIVE IT UP GUYS & HELP ME OUT I WOULD LIKE TO GET THIS THING BACK TOGETHER. THANKS & KEEP IT OFF THE ROAD. _________________________________________________________________Find a local pizza place, movie theater, and more?.then map the best route! http://maps.live.com/?icid=hmtag1&FORM=MGAC01
