At the time I wanted to make sure I killed the fuel pump in event of an accident. I think it is a Holley item, I know I bought it thru Summit. They sold a 3 pole oil pressure switch. Center pole triggered the light, the outer two were to kill the fuel pump in event of oil pressure loss such as when the engine died during an accident. -------------- Since the contacts are designed to run a fuel pump, the outer contacts should hold up. What's left is the diaphragm/seal/crimp (whichever is actually failing/leaking) -- will it stand 400-1000 psi? Oil pressure would rarely hit 100 psi, even in a race engine. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
