Every AMC 304 v8 from a junkyard is very, very old, and sticking one into a car and expecting it to drive OK is probably not a good idea. If you know a particular car/engine's history it's one thing -- but old cars end up in yards for economic reasons. Late-model wrecks are another thing, if 5 yrs old with the odo not rolled over etc you can guesstimate the condition of the engine. A 30 year old motor from a yard seems to me to be nothing more than a rebuildable core. It's too old! _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
