Don't assume that because AMC uses a part that's also available for "big three" products that it was made by one of them. Sometimes the part comes from a third party supplier. Universal joints is another one -- Dana-Spicer made a lot of U-joints for all manufacturers. In many case a manufacturer picks a product that's already in production when it fits the bill -- much more cost effective than having a custom made part in most cases. When contracting to buy a very large number there's probably no difference, of course. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
