Yup, gotta reset that !!!#$$% switch in the combo valve. > The second problem is the front end is creaky. It > creaks with every deflection of the front suspension. Mine too (70 Hornet) creaks more than it ought to and it's all new parts. I do have poly bushings in the spring perch -- the "John Elle fix" -- not sure if that's it. (They are still in place just fine 25K miles+ 2 years later though -- good fix!) My strut bushing groan/squeak. They're stock replacements (Moog). You could do what I did to diagnose -- not fix -- squirt with a penetrating spray like silicone or even WD40 and see if it shuts up. My Rambler's gor hand-made urethane strut bushings and they groan. If I jack it up and loosen, and fill with grease, they're silent for a while. They did get a lot quieter after 6+ months; I think the groaning surfaces wear in. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
