Dave Stohler's 62 Classic looks good because it is a well preserved car to begin with. But Dave, those Torque Thrust wheels and 60 series tires make the old gal really stand out!! I've always thought a two door 62 would be neat to have, now I just might have to find one!! Not much chance of finding one in that great a condition though. 62 is the ONE year the Rambler didn't have a V-8!! I'd have to swap in a GEN-1 drivetrain from an earlier one and convert to EFI. Even a 250 would be nice, with a three speed and OD just top make it super cool!! See Dave's car at: http://www.motoraddicts.com. Search for Rambler. No big surprise it's the only one on the site. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!) -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Swygert, Francis G MSgt 436 CES/CECM" <Francis.Swygert3@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 10:23 PM > From: d stohler <das24rules@xxxxxxxxx> > > hi, you said to contact you for an invite for an > album. i have pics of my ride posted in several > places. one of them is motoraddicts.com. i would LOVE > to post pics of my car from when i first got it to > where it is now. i want to get pics of my car out > there as much as possible. thanks. > > dave stohler > 62 classic custom > _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
