" I seem to remember reading somewhere that you could use a stock
" converter from a 904 on a stock 727 resulting in a higher stall
" rate converter. Is this true and feasible? Any drawbacks?
i was under the impression that they had different converter necks,
but i could be wrong.
drawback - overload. the 904 tc wasn't probably made for the high-hp
727 app. someone recently posted a similar gm trick on another list,
with the note that converter life was short.
