[Amc-list] AMC-list is back

I sent a personal message to Tom, but thought I’d recap here.

 

This is the first time the server has had a major problem, and it was only one day! That with a major hardware problem, not something minor. Tom is apologizing, but I commend him on the quick response to the server being down. Losing the last 30 days or so of new members won’t hurt much, and the archives will likely be restored. One day down in a year is a tremendous improvement over what we had before, where it was getting common to have 2-3 days down 3-4 times a year, sometimes more.

 

Thanks Tom!! Your quick response is much appreciated. And thanks for keeping all informed of the problem.
