A: Comanche (MJ) came out in '86 with the option of 2.8 V6 (carbed), 2.5L TBI or carb, or 2.1L Renault diesel. All other years (till the end in late '91 as some '92 titled rigs are around) were 4.0L or 2.5L with TBI. I don't think the 4 cyl Comanche got the MPFI the XJs got in '91. (Haven't seen any yet, even in the '91 I looked at) 904 auto was an option (I have a core one with the TBI flexplate and CPS in my parts collection I am liquidating for the last time. It would work well in an early Rambler with the TBI 4 cyl) and so was the AW4 to fit both the 4.0L and 2.5L. I recently found an '86 Ramcharger with Nissan 3.3L diesel that I bought and took to Canada for my oldest son to make a work truck out of (just wednesday night) It just needed an injector pump and being it was from Canada originally, the owner here couldn't license it in WA state. Anyway, I've seen ONE Comanche with a V-6 factory installed. Most as you stated are 4.0L. _________________________________________________________________ Get live scores and news about your team: Add the Live.com Football Page www.live.com/?addtemplate=football&icid=T001MSN30A0701 _______________________________________________ AMC-List mailing list AMC-List@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list or go to http://www.amc-list.com
