Bob, Two sets come to mind for a 71 Javelin that fit really well. Hooker Super Comps and the 1&5/8" Hedmans. The Hooker headers hang a little low on the passenger side but usually isn't a problem unless you have the front end sitting low as well. If you don't have much of a cam, then the Edelbrock shorty headers will work without any collector issues as they end right where the stock manifolds would have.
