Justin,

Find a good machine shop, one that works on industrial
engines, tractor engines, as well as cars.  I'm sure
they can get hardened seats for your 196 or customize
existing seats to work in your engine.

You should not have to buy the seats yourself.  Leave
it up to the machine shop to procure them.
