Many listers have used the spray cans for re-coloring upholstery vinyl, and
fabric. and carpeting. Most reports seem to indicate that SEM brand is
best. I think there is several specific types depending on the fabric so
look for the SEM stuff and check their instructions and recommendations.
I haven't specifically tried the stuff on seat belt strapping fabrics but it
might depend on what type it is. The old fabric straps in the late 60's
models that I have seen I don't think would be weakened or harmed by the
stuff. I'd give it a try and if it appears to harm them just get some new
or other used ones.
Too, depending upon what type they are you perhaps should upgrade to to a
newer and safer type that can't get in a bind and stick closed or something.
