I was shocked to find that NAPA had the pan gasket and filter
for my 1963 M35! In stock! $11!

The filter was different than the screen that came out; it had a
sort of snorkel that picked up the pink juice from further back
in the pan.  Otherwise identical. I had to adjust it slightly
to not press on the tubes across the bottom of the valve body.
