That is how I remebered it. You had to push or pull the pin during bleeding to center the slide valve or it would reduce braking to the front or rear depending on which way the valve slid. I have been through these brakes a number of times and last night in the rain it got real touchy. Have to figure out what is going on here or, gasp!, I will have to take it somewhere to get it fixed.
