be advised, for a non-o/d t14 you'll have to lengthen your driveshaft
~2".  if you didn't have the big nut rear end you could use a later
fine-spline t14 and long '70s yoke, as i did on my '68, to make up the
difference.  i'm not sure when the t14 went from coarse bw spline
output to fine tf spline; it may not have been '72.

whether or not a t14-o/d is the same length as a t96-o/d we've now
heard two differing opinions.

depending on how much more power you aim for you may want a stronger
clutch.  i think there's a way to fit a 10" unit, if the parts are
still available...

i've been noodling for a while - there are t14s and r10 o/ds
available, but very few t14-o/d combos.  would there be a market for
repro t14-o/d mainshafts and tailshaft adapters?
