http://www.teufert.net/speedo/tires.htm is a link for tire conversion... Likely was originally 670x15 size. Radials could be 195R15, or 205/75R15. or possibly 215/70R15. . Might want to consider steering ease on this. I didn't notice a power steering pump on that engine. Narrower tires should make it easier for steering. If it is hard steering with the present tires perhaps you will not want to get wider tires. Your tire store should have a look at it and offer some advice. ______________________________________________________________ Ralph Ausmann - Hillsboro, OR - > <ralph.ausmann@xxxxxxxxx> http://mysite.verizon.net/res79g4m/ ... and "check the links" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Pell" <mjpell@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, October 28, 2006 10:39 AM Subject: [AMC-List] new member; new to AMC, have a '61 Rambler Wagon > Hello all, > I've recently acquired my first AMC car; a '61 Rambler Wagon Deluxe. > Here's some pics: http://www.indianachevelles.com/pellwagon.html > > It has the aluminum overhead valve 6 cyl and OD 3sp manual trans.
