common rust spots are the front cowl corners, around the heater box inlet area where the heater core sits up against top and under the wiper motor.
  Lots of room in the trunk on one of these for a big lpg tank!
4 barrel 327 runs about 9.7-1 in compression the jeep engine you have is two barrel and drops down around 9-1, maybe 8.7-1. I think the two barrel just uses a shorter piston height. I've never found the piston heights to know for sure. I've wondered for a while if the two barrel motor could be decked to bring it up to four barrel specs, or even where the pistons set in the bores on the four barrel motors. Could the four barrel motors be decked to raise compression if they are down in the bores. I guess I could look since I've got a shortblock in my shop! All this is for lpg speculation.
