Louder stereo. 2. Earplugs. 3. Leave in driveway. Sorry. Not making fun of you, comiserating! My rambler suffers this same disease (in the strut bushings). It bugs me that it sounds like a "groaning old car" when in fact it's as good as new. As I'm sure you found out, grease, silicone spray etc all work for as long as the stuff is in there -- a day or a week. Something about the surface stiffness of the poly, it "strums" like a guitar string when rubbed under pressure. Bushing it with nylon, delrin, etc would probably do it but that's not much of a suggestion. _______________________________________________ AMC-List mailing list AMC-List@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list or go to http://www.amc-list.com
