My first question is: what are the largest rims that will fit? Second question: do you carry them? Third question: what's the price? Please note that I am not interested in shopping around. If you've got a solution for me (I want to jam as much rubber, especially width, under the stock fender as possible) let me know and we can get going on a purchase. I tend to believe it as I know the tranny is not original to the car, and the old cable had the tranny end hose clamped together. I always thought it was clamped because someone wanted to shorten it. I threw away the old cable. I have a new cable, it went in just fine, but neither of the heads that I have seem to work. Does anyone have any more thoughts on this and or some parts for sale? Also, I purchased an under dash AC system for this car. I think I am going to have to find a way to mount the Power steering pump elswhere, as I think the compressor goes where it is. This is the 232 motor. Does anyone have any thoughts and or parts for sale concerning this? Thank everyone for all their help with this, and in the past! I couldn't agree more. I get into my Hornet, plug in the charger for my cell phone and for about a half a second my brain wonders, "will this work in here?" Ha ha ha.... when I get in and start that car up I'm transported back in time when people needed to know how to drive, period. Thanks, Tom, I needed that. Just find the setup you need. I'd hold the speedo cabl under the dash and spin the cable with the car on jack stands and see wich way it turns. The compare that rotation to the speedo by spinning it with your fingers to see if the speedo moves when you spin it that way. You can usually get the needle to jump by giving the endof the speedo a quick spin. Or if it is out you can use a drill at slow speed to carefully spin the speedo. If it is turning backwards I'd contact a speedo shop to see if they have a solution. -- Mark Price markprice242ATadelphia.net Morgantown, WV ---- "Gary L. If that is the case, they are unique to the body style as the bumpers are different on the other cars. So it would be that the shape is different. Now if we can figure all of this out, I need a right side (passenger side) bumper extensions for my 1980 SPIRIT both front and back. The sun finally rotted them.
