A: I shipped a Grand Wagoneer tailgate to Noo Joisey. It arrived in unusable
condition and unceremoniously returned and dumped on my front lawn without
the slightest hint of why. I was lucky to be home and catch the driver who
THREW it over my fence! ( I heard the thump and came out to investigate)
There was a tire track across the package that I found out came from the
truck of the driver in Jersey. Same driver had been fined by the company
previously for DRAGGING a genuine Leonardo Da Vinci bust on pedestal across
the street and LEAVING it on the sidewalk rather than pull into their more
than adequate size parking lot! (same company restored art) He caused
$50,000 damage to the bust and nearly wiped out one of Leonardo's works
permanently.
Took me a long time to get the money out of UPS (in the meantime I had to
refund the seller's money) Granted that's the only problem I've had with UPS
other than them taking apart a crate I built for a 727 trans (they tried to
claim in Texas that the package was over the weight limit by 50 lbs, but I
used the UPS scale in Seattle to weigh it and had the slip to prove it. They
tried to bill me for 3 shipping pieces but that didn't fly either)

I'm still 'doin a Nose Job & have a hood
I need to get home from Oakdale CT. 06370
to New Paltz, NY 12561.
The drive is some 3+ hours being 6 round trip
with a good wind behind the Cherokee -
gas alone would probably pay shipping costs:
anyone ship a Hood before ?
