Bunny. I do understand that nothing I do will make a difference. But I choose to practice my silly little hobby in my own way. Too many bullrides in my youth, probably. But I promise to keep it short from now on. m. == == Anything you do AMC makes a difference. Having the car roll into Town while new and future car nutts scratch their ear makes the difference - you've presented them with a Totally New Experience - and you can't do that - even in the back seat of a Chevy @~~! The Best Car Memories I have are of Vehicles I knew nothing of > beginning with a SharK Finned '56 Packard Clipper Super 2dr. which ended up as my first car @ age 12. That same encounter provided me a ride in a White '55 NASH Ambassador V8 Coupe - with Air Con, as I recall wondering what that upside down dish pan was doing under the dash where my feet wanted to go....... So - after all these years I end up with: 1 - 1966 GTO conv. - Red 1 - 1981 AMC Kammback - Blue and am looking at : ............. a '55 NASH > to restore. Tell me that anything we do has no value or impact for AMC s 'standing' in the Hobby and I'll advise > there is no 'standing' - just people picking up GMs or Fords or AMCs for more reasons that have nothing to do with their styling or resale value. When my Kammback pulls more smiles and gawks @ the local Mobil than does a New Black Cadillac Escalade on custom 22'' chromies - > something subtle has been 'Experienced'.......... milnersXcoupe NEW YORK _______________________________________________ AMC-List mailing list AMC-List@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list or go to http://www.amc-list.com
