It still has factory paint on the inside of it. SNIP an windsheild wiper/ washer knob SNIP Also can be found on Eagle and Concord from 1979 to end of production. Just be careful to remove it correctly or you will break another one. I may even have on of those too, but no promises. SNIP , a bracket that holds the hood release button. ok thank you brendan Barlow SNIP This too can be found on EAGLES, Concords and Spirits from 1979 to end of production. This should make it easier to find in a wrecking yard. You will want to remove one all the way from dash board to hood release. This also reminds me I need one for my 1974 Hornet. I had better start looking. Search the site for "AMC manual" and it will show up. I'm not 100% positive the EGR is the same, but it should be unless 74 was the first year for EGR. I don't think so -- I believe that at least CA cars used EGR in 73. SNIP A quick look at this and compared to '74, the EGR shown compares to 74, 49 state or federal configuration. '74 California used a different EGR John ------------------------------ Message: 3 Date: Sun, 06 Aug 2006 23:13:44 -0700 From: "Jim Blair" <carnuck@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [AMC-List] Looking back To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <BAY114-F29B1231462CACB9295A573AC570@xxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed I wouldn't mind being put in charge of Jeep. It wouldn't be hard to cure Jeep's woes of poor fuel economy. _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! The 4.2L one for Jeeps hangs lower (it'll be ground by the ground!) and it's known to fit Eagles so it should work in a Hornet. I usually sell them for $40 or so on Ebay (when I can free them from the "AMC vault of horror" aka my storage locker that's big enough to hide a small bus in) ----- Original Message ----- From: "ray crossno" <carrera_rc7@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 22, 2006 7:35 PM Subject: 258 header >Hi, my name is Ray and I have a question about a 258 header. (I looked at the 2wd Comanche brakes I had and they were very basic) From: Miguel Yetman blackbirds20@xxxxxxxxxxx To: eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2006 6:37 PM Subject: Suspension/brakes Hello I wanted to know if you had any suspension or brake upgrades for an **1961** rambler classic?
