Or if not complete some rust free pieces from behind the tire. I have one patch panel from Kennedy that is excellent quality, just not quite large enough. If it was the same size as the AMX panels they sell it would have been perfect. I going to bite the bullet and have the Javelin done this winter so I'm starting to look for parts. To: amcrelay@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <ADVANCES62idcDjoYAP00000022@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain Are there any AMC meets the last two weekends of September (22-24, 29-1 Oct.)? I'll be coming back from Afghanistan somewhere around 15-20 September. I think the Ed Anderson meet in Ohio is about that time, and is about as far from Delaware as I'd be able to go. Closer would be better! My wife will want me to spend some of that weekend with her, but I can get away at least one day for a show! ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist ------------------------------ Message: 3 Date: Fri, 4 Aug 2006 10:09:43 -0700 From: Mark Price <markprice242@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [AMC-List] Looking back To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: "Mahoney, John" <jmahoney@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Message-ID: <5118213.1154711383728.JavaMail.root@web23> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Why I feel downright warm and fuzzy! To: Mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <23580154.1154712028007.JavaMail.root@web23> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 So, I'm sitting here thinking of something to do that I can't do and my mind keeps running to the 97 Cherkee SE I've got a line on. It would be so perfect a donor to build a 97 Comanche! The last I talked to the guy it was stil available, I'm actually considering this build. It would be fairly easy work that I know I oculd accomplish within my lifetime. This 97 is a 53K mile 4X4 GSA auction vehicle that was hit broadside, T-boned. It has perfect interior, Perfect non damaged driveline, 4.0, auto, A/C, Cruise, Tilt, Antilock brakes ETC; Now while I have couple of weeks to think on it [the SE's owner is out of town till the 14th] Anyone know of a good comanche body? Any year, Long bed preferred. @ or 4wd doesn't matter. The ceaper the better, The most important thing I'm looking for is a solid trucknstructure wise, doesn't need a front sheetmetal at all or any existing driveline. Just need Bare cab and chassis w/bed. If I can line up the Comanche I will seriously consider this. Close to home, you know 4 hours or so. I know Frank S. new of one a while back, it would have been perfect, I should have bought it then! Oh, well, Likely just more rambling From a crippled white man! -- Mark Price markprice242ATadelphia.net Morgantown, WV ------------------------------ Message: 5 Date: Fri, 4 Aug 2006 10:56:57 -0700 (PDT) From: russ hathaway <russh97309@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [AMC-List] Foam grills To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <20060804175657.2102.qmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Maybe I misprinted. I didn't mean a finished foam grill inserted into my car. I assumed the foam would be the mold, and another material making up the grill. I do not know injection molding from Adam but I do know that a real grill brings a couple thousand bucks (way out of line) and a rough one would be at least $500 (still out of line). So if someone who is in this line can repop em for $500 I would place the first order. The street rod shop showed me a grill they made for a mid fifties Ford and quoted me a price of $700, I was comfortable with that.....Russ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Never crashed. No rust except for some slight surface rust where the paint was thin from the factory. This is a nice car that could be an exceptional car. I have the build sheet, pre-delivery inspection form signed by the mechanic. Original owners and warranty books. Still has original paint. New brakes all around. The car is a 290 4 speed car with posi rear. Very strange combination but was a special order car. I have many extras that will go with the car or we can work something out to reduce the price. I also have a 69 SC/Rambler that is very rough but I have most of the parts to start the assembly of this car. I will only be selling one of these two cars. As soon as one sells the other is off the block. I will only be listing them once and I am only selling one because I just bought another SC. The cars are in Calif so if that is too far please do not waste my time or yours. Not trying to be rude I just do not have much extra right now. $18,500 for the AMX with extras, $9500 for the SC.
