Andrew is 100% correct -- it doesn't matter whether the donor is an AMC or Chrysler. The only difference between a Chrysler and AMC TorqueFlite is the bell housing -- which means the main case. Gear ratios and all internals are the same. The only difference between 4x4 and 2x4 trannies is the tailshaft housing and output shaft.
