Stuff like that is a pain in the ass to replace if it breaks because you have to waste time to go looking for it. The likelihood of another D300 being available among wheelers for about $150 is fairly high. I have Drill this weekend, so I will ask around the motor pool about the military axles. Not worth it to bother with the ancient tech in M-715 axles unless you have one. They have closed knuckles and other weak steering parts that I would be wary of, as well as old drum brakes. That would all have to be replaced, as well as the knuckles themselves. I don't know if those old D70's were even 35-spline. Did all D70's have 2-piece carriers like the old ones? _________________________________________________________________Is your PC infected?
