Ahh, the good ole days, when cars were made of cast iron and
oak trees! Hornet interiors are made out of temporoplastic(*),
and I don't recall any place for those ... what do you call that
design of grommet-style fastening? ... bumpers. I'll look again.




(*) Changes shape over time; once-straight dash lines look
like telegraph wires strung from pole to pole, blowing in a
very slow breeze. 

I could take the ENGINE out of my Rambler, and sit it on it's
STEEL dashboard dammit. Do that to the hornet, it would end up
on the floor. Slight exaggeration for illustration purposes only.
