Sent out that mail on first cars and it got me thinking, I cloned my Tempest into a GTO back in 1988 before anyone even cared about that stuff. Now a days you are some kind of villain for building a car the way you want it to be if it didn't start that way. It seems to me when the money guys get involved it's not ok to do what you want with your own stuff. You've got Paul Zazarine (otherwise decent guy) railing against cloning, you have Barrett Jackson running car prices into the stratosphere, and people who won't drive their cars.... WONT FREAKING DRIVE THEM!!! Because of what they are "worth". What's becoming of my beloved muscle cars? I live for this stuff, and yet the landscape is becoming very foreign to me. Don't we do this for fun, because we love being gearheads? Anyone have opinions about this stuff? Totally not trying to start a war of factions, just want to know people's perspectives. ~John _______________________________________________ AMC-List mailing list AMC-List@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list or go to http://www.amc-list.com
