Yes, its a manual - that's what I was referring to when I said "3 on the tree".  I appreciate the tip in the carb.  Perhaps someone on IFSJA can cough up some info specific to the Jeep application.  As for titles, Michigan isn't so tough.  You fill out the form, an officer comes to verify the VIN, then you just wait for the search to be completed (6 weeks or something) to find out if its stolen. =:O  If its not, you get a new title - as if it was never missing.
