You have to seperate the intake/exhaust and replace the gasket between them to run the full intake/exhaust set and have it seal properly. From: JOE FULTON <piper_pa20@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [AMC-List] 6 manifold gasket question To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <20060621025843.79644.qmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 I got the Napa intake/exhaust gasket manifold gasket set for my 6 cylinder Gremlin X. The gasket set has an intake gasket which naturally covers only the intake manifold mating surface (to the cylinder head). It also includes a complete one-piece intake/exhaust manifold gasket. I know many folks don't use anything but the intake manifold gasket (like the factory), but I want to use the complete gasket. However, my question is, can you use the intake manifold gasket along with the complete one-piece gasket. Also on the one piece gasket, it is not marked as to which side goes toward the cylinder head. BTW this appears to be a Victor gasket set relabeled as a Napa part. Any help appreciated before tomorrow evening. Regards, Joe Fulton Salinas, CA _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
