Thanks Nick, I don't have the old water pump anymore, I turned back in as a core. 2" could be an exaggeration. I was hoping that a spacer would be the problem, but when I tore it back down there was no spacer. I will be glad to buy it from you but the information I am giving you is all I have got. I am less than a shade tree mechanic, I am a drive way mechanic with a 132 piece ratchet set guaranteed for life from the flea market. I wish I could give you more info, I just don't know. You didn't put the fan spacer between the water pump and the pulley did you? If you measure your old water pump from the face where it bolts to the timing cover to the collar on the end of the shaft, I will see if I have the correct one for you. Can anybody please tell me where I might get a waterpump for my Javelin. I bought one from NAPA and it fits the bolt linups but the pulley is a good 2 inches to long. This water pump will not line up with the P/S or Alternator. What am I missing please. This is a beautiful car that cannot wait to run again.
