Ironically it took almost a act of Congress to get a Transportation Museum
in Kenosha, even with it's extremely rich automotive history. But watch the
pork fly for a Kenosha Civil War museum. Not to take away anything away from
Wisconsin's civil war contributions, but to me it seems like putting a Enron
museum in Houston. Or a Chevrolet museum in New Orleans. Or a casino and
topless bar museum in Salt Lake. Hmmm....not a bad idea, when is the next
flight out, I got a roll of nickles.
But the Kenosha civil war museum had a massive budget that dwarfed the
transportation museum budget if I recall, maybe some of ya'll who live up
that way can comment on the numbers. Here is a link to it:

One more thing before I go, as I mentioned this on the baadassgremlin group.
Please be safe this Memorial day weekend, and please remember what this
weekend is all about: those Veterans who have proudly served this great
nation in the past, present, (including Frank, Steve, Hal and other Vets on
here) and those in the future. God Bless Our Vets.

(yes that is a Airborne flag; one fellow I sent that to in Iraq printed it
and has it in his tank he told me, not sure if the tank is AMC powered)

This is my 71 SC/360 in the Houston 71% humidity with little breeze, I have
a small 30 watt lightbulb in the tree that lights up the flag at night,
looks really grat, and mentioned to Bart's group that now other neighbors
(neighbours if Canadian) are also flying their Old Glorys.
