You have the shipment specs, the weight, the size of the package as packaged, and the origin and destn zip codes. and the value, etc. Go to the FedEx web page and input the shipping data and get the quoatationa dn print out the pages and the detail showing breakdow of the charges and see what you come up with. If it is oversized package they will have to charge to on basis of more weight for all that space occupied by your shipment. There are various formulas for that. You can figure out what it would be via FedEx. They are generally a bit less that UPS. Specify their "FedEx Ground" service. This is a good service and their lowest cost. ______________________________________________________________ Ralph Ausmann - Hillsboro, OR - > <ralph.ausmann@xxxxxxxxx> Freight Control Systems - http://mysite.verizon.net/res79g4m/fcs/fcsystem.html http://mysite.verizon.net/res79g4m/ ... and "check the links" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Widiker, John D" <john.widiker@xxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [AMC-List] Shipping COSTS!!?? > enclose a copy of the receipt for shipping, I've never complained when > someone charges "actual" shipping.
