Jim, I know that the S-10 rear axle is the correct fit for a 58-63 American, and should be close for a 64-69. I wonder if it would be the right size for an XJ/MJ?? A 4.3L model should be strong enough. I think the four cylinder model is even stronger than a D35 or AMC 15.
