As far as I know, there is no aftermarket replacement for the AMC Spirit
and SX4 gasoline tank sending unit. I have been looking for one off and
on for the last 3 years. 
Year One offers a rebuilding service as do some others as a niche
market. Year One Web site is:

Other re-builders may be found through Hemmings ads, National AMC club
classified ads or in  Eddie Stakes Vendor listings on his web site etc.
The last time I checked for availability and prices a C-note was a
starting number.
MOPAR parts offered gaskets under the following part number;
Gas Tank sending unit Gasket.  Mopar Part # J0941521.  (pack of five) I
do not know if they are still available.
 
The lock ring might also be available through MOPAR or an auto parts
store. Don't know on that one.
