I just showed the car to my wife and told her if it hadn't gone over $4K I'd be bidding on it! I can't afford such a car until I get my house done over the next couple years. The only thing I see that they changed is the engine and trans and no chrome bumpers and grille. The bumpers and such aren't bad painted, but those plain wheel covers would have to go -- some vintage looking Torque-Thrust wheels or something similar. It's really to bad the Torino OHC six was replaced. It probably wasn't the three Weber model though. ------------------------------ Message: 10 Date: Sun, 09 Apr 2006 01:07:52 -0700 From: Tom Jennings <tomj@xxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [AMC-List] Rambler Torino On Sat, 2006-04-08 at 19:06, Eddie Stakes wrote: > Neat car! > Search item #4627928707 on www.ebay.com I love those things -- I've always wanted one. I'm not crazy about the treatment in this one (they removed all the 60's euro crap I love most) nor the furd motor but it's awful nice! -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ AMC-List mailing list AMC-List@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.wps.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
