That should be cleared up by the middle of the week. In the mean time there's another way! Go to www.amc-list.com then click on the underlined "archives all postings" message. that takes you to the archive list. Click on how you want to view (I suggest by "thread" or "date" -- newest post is at the bottom of the list) to display the list of messages, then click on each message to read. To post send a message to amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx (or mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx) from your e-mail program. Don't forget to type a subject or copy the subject line from the message you're replying to. If that works for you, go back to www.amc-list.com and change your settings to "no mail". You will need your password! To have your password mailed to you, go back to www.amc-list.com and click on the underlined "Have your password e-mailed to you". Type in your e-mail address then click on the "Remind" button at the bottom of the page (scroll down to see it). When you get your password in e-mail you can go back and change your settings. When you get to the settings page, scroll down to the gray boxes with options. The first one is "Mail Delivery". Simply click "Disabled" then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Submit My changes" button. IF YOU DON'T CLICK THIS BUTTON NOTHING WILL CHANGE! -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!) ------------------------------ Message: 5 Date: Sat, 8 Apr 2006 15:13:51 -0400 From: <glennrock@xxxxxxx> Subject: [AMC-List] terminate my emails/NOW!!!!!!!!!!! I like this response much better than the others who were surprised to find themselves back on the list, though I don't blame them for being a little irate. Changing everyone to digest mode seems to have helped, as only 2-5 e-mails a day is more tolerable than 30+! After all the old addresses are purged it will go down to 10-30 e-mails a day, or 1-3 digests. The system is set to send at least one digest daily, but will send as soon as a size trigger (8-10 messages) is tripped. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!) -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Glenn Dube" <shiloh@xxxxxxxxxx> > I haven't been receiving the list for about 2 years now.
