I've got the same truck (except for the manual & 4wd)... FYI, the Mopar
Mailing List (MML) and the Dodge RAM list (DiRT) are no help so bother with
them.
The local repair shop (Christian Brothers) has been more help at diagnosing
problems.
Can someone point me to a good reliable source of Dakota information and help?
I've just bought a 2001 Quad cab 4.7, 5 speed, 4wd. It has the Sport
package on it and otherwise is optionless. I love it! But found out the
other day when it warmed up the suspension squeaks and groans on it. I
suspect swaybar bushings or similar, but don't want to beat myself to
death trying to identify the noise if it is a common problem and a simple fix.
Truck has new front shocks and upper balljoints. Everything else looks
original and seems OK and not loose.
We can take this back channel, I just want to start with someone I trust.
