Ralph, you may find the Plastic Welding Kit from Harbor Freight Tools a 
better buy, its on sale for $29.99 right now the order number is 41592-1VGA. 
I got one last year after visiting the chrome bumper place that rechromed my 
Javelin Bumpers, they were reworking plastic bumpers, got watch them for 
about an hour and they were using plastic welders with low pressure air like 
the one Harbor sales and for allot less money.

I came across this company in an article some time back and here they have a
web site now.  It looks like they have a system useful system for
restorations.
