Actually, the GM style switch that everyone is familiar with (the one with 
the canceling doo-hickey that fits all the way around the steering shaft) 
started in 1968 and not all 1968's have them. All 1967's and some 1968's 
use a type that looks like the older style but it has a couple of wires 
going to it. Chrysler used a similar setup in the 60's but I'm not sure if 
it's the same (or at least close enough to work). BTW, there are also two 
canceling cams for 1968 -- one for each style switch.
